Hey guys, I am sorry for no posts in the last few..weeks?

With Work being crazy, working out, and family life it has been hard to fit poker in on a consistant basis. I have still been playing, but not with the hours everynight I used to. Sometime I go days without playing, and it sucks. But until I learn how to manage this time better or things slow down a bit it looks like I will be playing more ‘for fun’. This means I will play by feel, playing the game type I feel like playing that day. It may be Sngs, cash, tournies..or hell a whole new game entirely. Until I get things going consistant again I feel this will help keep me in it and interested.

Please do keep stopping by, I will try to post at least once a week since not much is going on. Hopefully things will go smoother in the winter.

Thanks to all of you for being here for me. I still look in on your blogs to see how you all are doing.

505 and New Challenge

I do not have the workout documents in front of me so I won’ t be as detailed this time. I will however do so if it requested. One milestone I will remark on is I did work up to a 505lb single squatting. This was a huge moment for me.

As far as poker it is again another slow week. I am going to be working overtime pretty much everyday for a little bit. I want to make a new challenge to help keep things fresh for me. I am not doing away with my current, I will just set it in the background and bring something else forward. I will decide for sure what this is in another day or so, stay tuned.

Shorty

Well my session was cut short last night. My daughter thought I should play with her most the night instead, so I guess that comes first. I will tell you how my session went though. I got hit in the face with the deck. I wish I can say my leet skills made me money but that is not the case. I am at work right now o I would look in PT to give you numbers on how many times I got premium hands. I got AA and KK and AK constantly on 4 tables. I also hit quads twice…and this is all within a 30 minute period. I did get sucked out on twice but they were by short stacks and I can’t complain because I racked up anyway.

I also had the fortune that people did call me even if I went all-in. This one hand I have to discuss, it just got set up perfectly. I got sucked out on AK vs JT, flopped my aces he rivered the straight. Anyway 2 hands later I get QQ. The same guy limps and I go all in. I figure this was perfect because if he was thinking at all he probably thought I was just tilting, and so he called. I can’t even remember right off hand what he called with, I don’t remeber it being to good of a hand. I busted him, got my money back plus some.

So thats about it, alot happened within such a short time. I wish every session could be just like this.

Small Update

It has been a rough few days when it comes to fiting some poker in. Today I have the house all to myself for awhile ao I am working hard. Finding enough tables at UB is rough at this time of day. I’ll be back later with some real updates.

Internet Outage

Well I got to play 100 hands last night when my internet connection decided to crap out. It would come on and off so I just gave up for the night. At the time it crapped out I was 3 bucks behind. I am not even going to count the stats seperate since it is so insignificant, I will just add them to tonight’s. Damn Charter.

Uh oh, Do I See Light?

Well I am still digging away at the hole but I do see light. I got up super early this morning to take the family to the zoo that is 2.5-3 hours away and spent the day there and came back. I rested while watching a movie then decided to play some.

I wanted to see what my strategy like was on partypoker SnGs so I went there first. I played an $11 SnG instead of a $5+1, figured if I am going to pay the same amount of rake I may as well play the 10’s. I started playing and the beeper wanting you to make a decision went off awful fast, I looked up and was like ‘oh shit!’ I accidently got into a turbo. Well I ended up placing second so that wasn’t to bad. I then played a normal $11 SnG when KK came into my hand and I ended up all in against AQ and you guess it the A came in on the turn. I was the second person out, oh well I can’t win them all. Next I go back to pokerrrom and decide to play two at once. I single table alot and I need to get into multitables. I started the first $5.50SnG waited 15 minutes then started a second. It wasn’t so bad but I ended up bublling the first and outright losing the second. I don’t know if playing two at once had any effect on that or not, I really wasn’t getting much in cards at all either. So cashed 1 out of 4, guess it could be worse. Also I am pretty tired and probably should have just stopped for the night after I played at party.

Now I decide to play 5 max .50/1 Limit Holdem at Pokerroom. Boy did I walk onto a juicy table or what. I admit the deck hit me pretty hard, I got trips, full houses, and two pair quite a bit. these guys though just did not learn to get out of my way when I put in a raise, but hey I am not complaining. Unfortuantly the table broke pretty soon and I decided to quit for the night since I am about to fall asleep while I type this.
